Hi, I'm Ziad.
Product Designer, UX researcher and mentor based in Riyadh — I turn complex problems into interfaces people actually enjoy using.
I'm a Product Designer working on complex platforms — enterprise and government systems, healthcare and marketplace products, and the design systems underneath them. Recent work includes an enterprise design system and customer app redesign for a water utility, and KinetixUI, an open-source cross-platform system I started myself.
Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, I value strong partnerships and inclusive design processes. I'm also passionate about mentoring future designers, and built a career‑path framework to help them grow — something I now put into practice as a UX Mentor on ADPList.
Outside of design, I explore new technologies, draw inspiration from art and nature, and spend time with my team and family.

Senior UX Designer at Astek, assigned to the Lean Business Services product team in Riyadh.
The longest‑running engagement of my Riyadh chapter, spanning several client product teams.
Initiated an enterprise design system for the utility's digital products, introduced Figma to the team, and contributed to the redesign of its customer mobile app.

Designed the Dotcare mobile app from scratch — research, information architecture, prototyping — replacing the group's old app on both stores.
